Hey guys - The 1904 German Upright has quickly become one of my favorite pianos. It sounds gorgeous. It is my goto piano to just sit down and play these days. But there are a a few bad sample edits that hinder the playing experience. Hope these can be quick fixes for your team.
Where Middle C = C3
- G#2, A2 - muffled sound in background at high velocities. This isn't that bad or noticeable in playing and might be just the character of the piano captured in the recording
- F#3, G3, C4, C#4 - particularly bad plasticky click/clack on this note middle/high velocity. These are the main reason for posting this thread
- D4 - same as above, but not quite as pronounced
- And once you hit E5 and above, there seems to be some additional clickiness in various samples. It could just be the character of the way the hammer hits the strings. This doesn't bother me that much, but thought I would mention it.
