  • Synchron WW β€” How do I expand the low range to a sounding C#?

    Dear VSL,

I'm trying to render Peter and the Wolf and the clarinet theme starts with a phrase that goes down to the sounding low C#. I cannot hear that note with the Bb Clarinet, since the lowest note is E (sounding low D). There's no A clarinet in the synchron woodwinds. I cannot believe I'm the first one that stumbles upon this… How can we reach that note, using the recorded D and pitching it?

  • You can extend the range by dragging the GUI keyboard:

  • Thanks ! So easy :-)

  • Pleasure. Would love to hear your Peter and the Wolf when it's finished.
