  • Some Synchron libraries aren't shown in players

    Hello

I'm experiencing some issues in Synchron Player, Organ Player and Harp Player on Windows 10.

Basically some libraries aren't shown. I installed them via Vienna Assistant and the licenses inside my iLok are activated. When I try to add them to the scan paths it says 'name of the folder' is not a valid content path.

Does anybody have a clue about how to fix this?

    Thank you!

  • Hi gcorcella,

Anything unusual about the path? Special Characters, maybe in the root folder of a drive?

You can always send screenshots to support@vsl.co.at, so we can check with you.

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hey Paul!

at a first glance the path seems correct. I also sent an email to the VSL support earlier this morning with a bit more details after doing other tests today.

    Thanks!

  • Hello Paul,

I have the exact same problem today. None of my libraries shows up anymore. Re-Installation of Player and one library for testing purposes did not help.

I will send an e-mail with details and Sc.reenshots as well.

    Thanks

  • Hello!

Please make sure that those drives are NOT formatted in exFAT. As a general advice, exFAT shouldn't be used for ANY sample work for several reasons. The System Requirements for Synchron Player libraries state NTFS (Win) or APFS (macOS) as supported formats as it always has been the case.

    Kind regards,
    Andreas
