MIR3D global dry wet offset multiple rooms cubase
HI Dietz, Quick question Say I have 3 rooms open in tabs, one for strings one for brass and one for woodwinds. I adjust the global dry/wet offset for the strings room to -40% to get a nice sound, then I want the woodwinds in the second room using a different microphone to sound a bit wetter so I set it to -20%. What seems to happen is the global offset makes the strings more dry even though they are in a different room. Is there any way to make the global offset only adjust the room in question and leave the other rooms untouched. Dave

Hi Dave,
I don't know what went wrong in your setup, but actually the Global Dry/Wet Offset works indeed on the level of individual Venues already, not across the whole project. You just have to make sure that you selected the proper tab.
Do you have more details for us, please ...? (OS, host, software versions, etc.).
TIA!

Hi,
Using Cubase12, Windows 11, MIR3d plugin VST3.
I set the strings (global dry/wet ratio) in the first tabbed room, everything is good.
Move to the second tabbed room to adjust the brass global dry/wet ratio. This also changes the dry/wet sound of the first room(strings). Even though the percent number of the strings room does not change the sound definitely does.
Thanks,
Dave
