    Dear VSL

    It seems like the automatic crossfades are missing in the Sibelius soundsets for solo horn (Synchron brass). It's working fine for the 'Horns a4' and for the rest of the brass instruments, both solo and ensemble.

    Is it me who are doing something wrong? I have tried changing Vel.XF from CC2 to CC1 and changing between 'Horn in F' and Horn in F [no key] without succes, and if I use 'Horn in F a4 [no key]' as soundset, then it works.

    Hello Martin!

    For Synchron Brass please load the presets from the "03 Velocity" folders. It is possible to turn on VelXF in the preset to enable dynamic changes for single notes.

    Hello Andi,

    I already have the presets form the "03 Velocity" folder loaded. The VelXF works if I load Sibelius Soundset 'Horns a6' etc, but not if I use the 'Horn in F' soundsets, so it seems to be very much a problem in the Sibelius soundset, either in mine or in the soundset provided by VSL. (Ps. I'm using the VSL soundsets)

    A general question, is there anyone here in the forum where VelXF works fine for Synchron brass - solo player in Sibelius, f.ex. horn 1 etc.?

    Hello Martin!

    VelXF works fine for Synchron Brass (including Horn 1) here. 

    Did you go through the Troubleshooting section of the "Sibelius Integration" tutorial yet?

    If you can't find a solution there, please send  the following screenshots to support@vsl.co.at referencing this forum thread.

    Thanks Andi,

    Found a solution, I installed the Sibelius soundset again, and now all the crossfade works. Maybe something happened when I installed some of the latest Sibelius updates....
