I just reopened a project in Finale (V.27.2.0.142) that I use to work on in the last year and, suddenly, I cannot connect (in the score manager) with my Vienna Ensemble Pro Server project (V7). I have not switch to Ilok yet.
I am operating on 2 Mac mini M1 (OS Monterey 12.5)

I have been working on this project for the last year and went in vacation 2 weeks ago. Before I left, I did update Finale and my Mac OS system, that's it. I shut down my two computers and left.
When I came back and tried to work on my project again, even if I set "Vienna Ensemble Pro" in the "Audio Unit" of Finale, I cannot connect the instances of my VEPS project (on my second computer on which the application was launch first) via the ScoreManager like I usually do.
Normally, I click on "edit player", shown in red in the score manager and the connecting window of VEPS appears so I can connect with a specific instance.
I tried with a new Finale project, same result.
Both of my computer has their Firewall off.
It really looks like a network problem... I am not familiar with that and may be I need a run thru for a proper routing between the two computer ? The updates might have change something in this regard but I cannot figure out what it is.
Have you seen something that can affect this problem in the last update of Finale ?
Or his there a preference that has been change with the update of MaOs ?

Just a guess. Maybe you have different Vienna Ensemble Pro versions installed on your two computers. Please make sure that the last eLicenser version (7.0.1120) is installed on both of your computers.

If that doesn't help, I would check the network settings. Can you access one computer from the other?

So, here is where it stands:
I have re-installed Finale, same result. I cannot connect to my VEPS on my 2nd computer when I Start a new project or a recent project.
I have update VEP on both my computer like you did suggest (I am not sure I understand why as VEP on my main computer is not running when I am working...)
I have a full and easy access to both of my computer, If you can help me checking the network setting may be...
To be clear:
1st computer (main) runs finale 27.2.0.142 on a Mac mini M1(2020), Mac OS Monterey 12.5
2nd computer (server) runs VEPS 7.0.1120 on a Mac mini Mi (2020), Mac OS Monterey 12.5
Wow ! and now, read this : I opened an old Finale files and when I played the file, it connected automatically with my VEPS. I said "hourra !" I went back to open recent files and guess what, Finale crashes. Now, Finale Crashes each time I try to open a file...This progression of the problem is quite something ! More to come !
