Is anyone here running a big orchestral template (say 300+ VSTis) on servers where they send all of the individual instrument audio channels back into their DAW (in my case Nuendo)?
I understand they can be bussed back with groups, but I need get everything into MIR 3D with it's own stage placement and buying 3-4 more licenses (for each VEP server) of MIR 3D is a bit pricey.
Am I asking for trouble by sending 400 channels of audio back? Will this demand a terrible latency penalty?
The server farm would be spread out to about 3-4 i7-12700K machines.
Does the new disable track feature help here?
