I've long had a preferred custom screen layout for VEP7 on my iMac (see attached pic of a test Server Project - top shot). Saving this layout in a Server Project was not a problem before iLok, but now it's a horrible inconvenience - for me at least.
I've discovered that I can save my custom layout in a new Instance file, then when that Instance is recalled separately to overwrite an existing Instance in the Server Project currently open, my saved layout is there. But when I save the Server Project that contains this new Instance, my layout isn't recalled when reopening that Server Project. (see attached, shots 2 and 3.)
Maybe I've missed something or my brain has been fried by the 40ºC heatwave we've just had here. Anyone confirm that screen layout recall is or is not possible in the latest VEP7?
