  • Unable to activate iLok licenses

    Hello VSL users,

    I am attempting to transfer my VSL licenses to my already existing iLok account. I am following the step-by-step directions and am at the point of activating the licenses in iLok. When I attempt to drag the VSL products onto the current Mac listed in the iLok manager, I get the following message "The following licenses you selected were not able to be processed during this operation". If I try to use the Licenses menu item: Activate, it asks for an Activation Location" with some text about an iLok USB location. What is going on? I have numerous products from other venders on my iLok License Manager and have had no problems like this.  What am I to do?

  • It sounds like you're trying to activate to your machine. With VSL, you can only activate on the Cloud or a iLok USB dongle
