  • [SOLVED] Copying MixerPresets

    Hi,

As someone who makes his own custom presets, I would find very useful being able to copy the MixerPresets, each time an update is released, from the factory to the custom presets.

Is there an easy way to do it? At the moment, the only way I see is incredibly tedious (save a single mixerpreset from the factory preset, create a new blank preset with the correct name in the custom preset, load the mixerpreset from disk).

Drag & drop or copy & paste would be tested and tried methods, and very fast.

As an alternative: are the mixerpresets freely accessible from disk as individual files/folders? Being able to copy the files from one to the other preset folder would be even faster.

I have to add that the procedure I described above doesn't seem to work.

When I load the saved preset from disk, the mixer is correctly set. I then save the preset.

The next time I try to select the imported mixerpreset, nothing changes in the mixer.

If select the preset again, the saved mixerpreset is there again. Select a different mixerpreset, and then back the new one, and nothing changes.

    Choosing saved MixerPresets

  • OK, I see what happened.

After importing a mixerpreset from disk, you have to click the disk icon to save it into the selected mixerpreset (or a new one you write the path of). Just loading it doesn't work.

  • In another forum, Ben gave me the right answer: copy the mixer settings, save them into a new mixerpreset, save.

The only problem I encountered was finding the right place where to right-click to make the context menu appear. It is just over the OUTPUT label, on the immediate left of the mixer.

  • Aaaargh! Copying/Pasting one mixerpreset at a time is an incredibly time consuming task.

I really hope some much faster way appears in one of the future versions of Synchron Player.

I had started making my custom presets for Elite Strings, but at this point I'll wait until the new mixerpresets are ready.
