  • VEPro 7: Version 7.1.1245 Removes Vienna Ensemble Pro VSTs

I just installed the VEPro 7 update to 7.1.1245 and the Vienna Ensemble Pro VST is removed and NOT re-installed with the update. The Surround Pro version is the only one installed.

I had to restore the Vienna Ensemble Pro VST3 from a TimeMachine backup to be able to work at all. Seriously hampered because VEP Event Input and VEP Audio Input are also NOT installed.

How can I revert to the previous working version? What do you suggest?

  • I had the same problem.  I just saved the download and installed it manually.  The files are all there.  Something wrong with the automatic installer.

  • That worked! Thank you so much!!!

  • Same problem (MacOS 11.6.5), VST3 plugin of VEP removed during upgrade. Manual installer worked.

  • How did you guys run the manual installer? I have the ilok version of VEP7 and it seems the only way I can install is using the Vienna Assistant...

  • In the VA Prefernces there is a setting for download only mode. Select that and download VEPro again. The installer will be in your Downloads folder. Double-click it and go and you'll be back to normal.

  • Hi,

That's correct, "manual installation" will fix this for now!

    1) Switch to Download-Only Mode in the VA Preferences
    2) Start the installation of VE Pro 7 manually from your download location

Working on an update, should be out there on Monday.

    Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Best,
    Paul
