  • ARTICULATION EXPRESSION MAPS FOR PROTOOLS

I am a new but enthusiastic VSL user, but am wondering HOW best to transfer or input keyswitching information from a VSL library across to my Protools DAW. So far, I have only been able to manually enter modulation & pitch wheel data automation in Protools, but based on the numerous video and audio promos on the VSL homepage, which run through multiple articulation changes in quick succession, presumably there must be some efficient way to easily input/record such keyswitch data across into a DAW??

I understand there may be various sophisticated third party devices or software which could be used for this purpose, but I would prefer to simply have a direct link between a VSL library and Protools.

Or, would I need to try to create and implement new sets of .middev and .midnam data files (as needed when using external hardware midi modules)?
