  • [SOLVED] problems loading yamaha cfx

    Hello.

I bought the Yamaha CFX a few days ago and still haven't been able to get it to work. First I had problems to install the Vienna Synchron Pianos because the path established for VST2 did not come. Once it seems that I have installed correctly in Windows 10, the Vienna Synchron Pianos appears both in standalone and in Cubase 10.5. Now, I don't know what I have to do to load the sounds from the library, which I have downloaded to a dedicated M.2 SSD. Could you please tell me what I have to do to load the sounds of the Yamaha CFX? To provide more information, I installed Vienna Synchron Pianos in the Program Files/VSTPlugins path, although after choosing this path I see that the folder is outside of VSTPlugins, it stays in the Program Files folder, I don't know if this should be the case . In any case, and as I say, I open the Vienna Synchron Pianos but I can't load the presets. Imagine that I have already bought it for three days and I can't use it...

    Thank you very much.

    Welcome JLuisSalas,

I see this is your first VSL product! Congrats!

This looks like you have not downloaded/installed the sample content yet?

Did you follow these instructions? Which step doesn't work?

    Best,
    Paul

  • Open the player, then click on the mic perspective you want, like Concert, Intimate, Player, etc. That will trigger the instrument to load. You'll see the loading progress under the keyboard

  • Hello.

That's right, the first product I bought and I haven't been able to use it for five days because I don't know how to install it and I'm starting to feel bad. The process seems complicated to me and something is wrong, because I'm not that clumsy and I'm used to installing many vst from other brands.

I summarize the steps I have followed:

    1. I downloaded the Vienna Assistant

    2. I installed the standard Yamaha CFX libraries on an M.2 SSD

    3. I installed Vienna Synchron Pianos following the Windows path: Program Files/Vstplugins

    What is the problem now?

    1. Slowness of the technical service in answering, today all day they answered me.

    2. The Synchron piano opens both in standalone mode and in Cubase 10.5 but I don't see how to load the Yamaha CFX presets. Am I that clumsy? I don't think so, something's wrong.

I would attach a screenshot, but I don't see how to do it in this forum either. I say this because when I load the Synchron piano the message appears: NO COMPATIBLE INSTRUMENTS FOUND

I'm really getting frustrated after five days just bought and not being able to use it.

    I hope you help me

    Thanks.

  • Thanks, but the preset does not come out. I open the player but I get the following warning:

    NOT COMPATIBLE INSTRUMENTS FOUND

  • Did you activate the license in the iLok manager?

  • Thanks, I managed to solve. I was unaware of Ilook Cloud and thanks to the video published today on VSL I was able to activate the Ilook Cloud.

    Fixed.

  • Good to hear
