Ilok version vienna ensemble pro server mir pro 7.1.1239 crash

ilok version 7.1.1239 crashes all the time on me. 

My last stable version was the elicenser version 7.0.1113. When I tried to go back to 7.0.1113

the project will not open. Something about it was created in a newer version. Is there an ilok version 7.01113?

If now how do I go back to the elicenser version.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for reporting. Did you fill out the crash reports and did you send those to us with your email attached?

You can always roll back to the eLicenser version, it is still available in your elicenser Software Downloads.

There is no iLok version 7.0.

It would be great if you'd like to help us to fix this... we will need some more information to do that... Please send screenshots and reports/instructions/setup info to support@vsl.co.at, we will look into it.

Unfortunately it crashes without creating a report, VEP pro 7 just disappears. It seems to be related to a scaling issue in windows 11(same on windows 10) I use Newfangled audio elevate and equivicate, Leapwing audio stage one and center one and Ozone 9 limiter all in the same project. They all have fully adjustable gui sizes. It seems to happen when three or more adjustable graphics gui's are used in the same project.

Here it the thing, I use a 4k monitor that I have to scale to that I can see things properly, When I scale the screen to 150 or 175% and use the above plugins at the same time VEP pro 7 starts to get distorted and out of place graphics( I have attached some screenshots) and will eventually crash. When I scale windows back to 100% this strange gui and graphics behavior disappears and so does the crash. But I can't see the screen properly at 100%. I also use Cubase 12 with the same plugins and do not have a problem.

I have attached 2 screenshots

1) Leapwing Stage one with shrunken and distorted graphics.

2) I click on Options in VEP pro 7 and you can see it is now out of place, larger and to the right of where is is supposed to be.

 

In order to reproduce this you will have to use elevate, equivicate, stageone and ozone 9 limiter all at the same time have a 4k monitor set to 150 or 175 scaling. Again this problem disappears at 100% scaling.

Unfortunately this iLok version seems to be quite unstable on Mac systems as well, and without involving rescale (at least not in an evident way):

I had immediate crash on both my Mac Mini M1 (16Gb RAM) Mac OS 12.3 running  VEP 7.1.1239 and whatever player in Synchron, VI Pro 2, Kontakt 6.7, just changing venue into MIRx mode venue selection.

Same behavior with my Mac Book Pro 2019, i9 8cores, 32Gb RAM, Mac OS 12.3 running very same software set-up.

That sounds then independent from processor/silicon/native operation.

Never had this issue before the update, and I had quite stable operation of VEP on all my systems even with heavy and intricate projects, with very rare crash events, if not at all.
