After installing all my products my drive is nearly full. Can they be moved to a new drive without reinstalling.

Hi,
Yes, they can be moved.
Are you using the iLok versions (everything should be moved IN the Vienna Assistant) or eLicenser versions (Move the sample content, then assign in Directory Manager for VI and Settings => Database in Synchron Player).
Best,
Paul
Hi Paul,
I'm in a similar situation where I've copied the libraries to a new drive as I set up a new computer. Because of this, Vienna Assistant cannot see the old installation (because that's never been plugged in). How do I get Assistatnt to connect to the new location? Or do I HAVE to connect it to the old drive somehow and then copy it all over again??
Check out the feature "Add existing libraries" in the Vienna Assistant Main Menu. This will only work with iLok content, of course!
Hi Paul. I had to reinstall MacOS Ventura from scratch, i.e. after a complete reformatting of my MacBook HD.
I tried the "Add Existing Libraries" option but it did not work: Vienna Assistant only offers to reinstall the libraries...
Any idea?
Thank you,
Roberto
Hi Roberto,
Yes, you can only add existing iLok library content.
After the switch, you will need to download all iLok sample content in any case, the legacy eLicenser content will not work.
If I am misunderstanding the situation, please send me some screenshots: support@vsl.co.at
Best,
Paul
**solved**
unsure why. After Installing Synchron Player, Synchron Piano and Vienna Ensemble 7, all the iLok libraries are now listed as "installed".
