    Hello, I posted this in another forum but was unable to remove it. I think this forum is more appropriate for my questions: Just a few weeks ago I purchased a new Vienna key. Can it be used as an ilok key after transition or do I need to purchase another physical key? Also, i just checked all my software and everything says it is eligible for transition except my copy of Vienna instruments Pro which is marked in red!! Why would that not transfer? Does it mean I need to buy it again? After hearing that the ilok cloud is not available 100% of the time I will definitely want to use a physical key as well. I truly hope that we don’t have to purchase any of our exiting hardware or software again because of this decision to transition to ilok. Thanks, Mike

    hi Mike,
    a ViennaKey - aka eLicenser - cannot be used to store iLok licenses, they require this special iLok key.
    VIPRO cannot be converted because it is now free with every VI Library, so there is no need to convert ist because you can download it anyway.

    Chris, I actually already have an ilok key that I use for Ivory Pianos. Do you think I would just be able to add the VSL licenses to that, or would it require a totally separate key for VSL licenses? Mike

    One last question, Paul. If I choose to use the iLok key can I also use the iLok cloud server? Are we allowed to use both? Thanks, Mike
