    VEPro AUv3 with Logic 10.7.3 now exhibit normal MIDI Note Off function on all 48 VEPro ports.

    Previously, using Logic 10.7.0, 10.7.1 or 10.7.2 with VEPro AUv3, in half of the VEPro ports all MIDI Notes were left hanging without their Note Offs. Apple have fixed this in 10.7.3.

    In testing this functionality I used:- Logic Pro 10.7.3; VEPro AUv3 7.0.1120; VSL Synchron Player 1.1.2063; NI Kontakt 6.7.0; macOS 12.3 Monterey; external Samsung X5 2TB SSD boot volume via TB3; 2017 5K iMac, 4.2GHz i7 7700K, 64GB, Radeon Pro 580 8GB.

    I'll be testing this latest Logic with VEPro AUv2 using VSL's original multiport workaround next and will post results asap.

    VEPro AUv2 multiport with Logic 10.7.3:- Main Bug In Logic Still NOT Fixed.

    It appears something has changed, but certainly not for the better. There are crazy bursts of spurious repeats, more disorderly than previously. Something is still seriously f***ed up in Logic's Environment. The bug (or perhaps bugs) I'm referring to here is nothing to do with VEPro; the effects of the bug can be observed without any VEPro plugins in Logic.

    I'm pretty certain there is no Environment workaround that can enable VEPro AUv2 to be used with Logic 10.7.3 for normal, let alone reliable multiport operation.

    I don't suppose there are many commercial composers still using Logic. No pro can be doing with a flakey DAW. If you're a Logic user and thinking about jumping ship, check out this video by Guy Michelmore on Cubase 12 (especially in the last few minutes where he talks about changing to another DAW). Too often, Logic has shown that it doesn't really serve or deserve pro composers.
