Hi everyone,
It's time to get a new machine, simply because my old one packed up.
I was thinking maybe an XI Machine but I would love to hear if you have suggestions for a PC alternative where you can customize the specs and have it sent to your place just as you would with XI but perhaps a tad less expensive?
Looking forward to hearing your recommendations.

Xi-Machine is a great company. Another dedicated European DAW-assembler is POMtec:

... over the past 10 years, all my DAWs have been built by them, and also for many of the studios I usually work in. They even assemble "VSL Certified" Workstations. :-)

Honestly I am working with a laptop + scarlett 2i2 right now but would love a firewire because I want to be able to use my beloved saffire pro 26.
