  • EQ Pro less easy to use than old EQ

    Hi,

I just upgraded my VSL Suite to the Pro version.

What really cought my attention was that in the old EQ you could grab a point and change the Q setting by pressing CMD. That made changing things really easy and intuitive.

With the Pro version this is removed and now you have to find a tiny spot with your mouse to change the Q, and you can't do it all in one sweep anymore.  I find this so clumsy that i rather use the old EQ.

Could you please bring this back in the next update?

    Cheers,

    Geert.

You're right, the UI handling changed, but now you can use the mouse-wheel to control the Q of a selected band.

There are no plans to change these settings in the near future, sorry to say so (... personally I liked some of the concepts used by legacy Vienna Suite better, too).

    Kind regards,

  • Hi Dietz

Thank you for your quick reply.

As i am working with a Wacom Pen/Tablet i don't have a mouse wheel, and therefor never noticed the option to do so ;)

Shame, but then i keep using the Legacy EQ

    Cheers,

    Geert.

  • ... so do I, except in those cases where I need multi-channel functionality (which is admittedly quite common these days).
