I wonder if the FX series will be expanded, soon or later. If it will, I hope to find something in particular, in the brass section:
- Breaths with no clear pitch. Black Eye sordino has something that can approximate it in the clusters, but it is not it. Having it both as section and solos would be great.
- Singing through the instrument (ppp-mp). I think this has not been sampled by anybody else, apart for conTimbre for solos.
- Slap tonguing. This can be very powerful, in particular in combination with col legno strings. One of those avant-garde techniques that can do great things with soundtracks.
- Shakes (fff). No other sampled example I can think of. Great for horror or action movies, and in avant-garde scores.
