Hello all!
I've been a Notion and VSL user for many years and love them both! However, after purchasing my M1 iMac with Monterey OS, entering notes with a mouse has significantly slowed down.
I followed Presonus suggestions with no improvement. Additionally, I deleted and reinstalled Notion, all Vienna sounds and software and the issue still exists. The next step was to solely delete all Vienna software and sounds and strictly use Notion sounds. The problem went away. My assumption is something is going on between Vienna Instruments Pro 2 and Notion.
UPDATE: Presonus suggested ensuring Rosetta 2 was installed. I did so, no issues until I opened VI 2 via the Mixer. After exiting the VI 2 and Mixer, note entry immediately slowed down.
Has anyone with an iMac M1, Notion and VSL? I'm at my wit's end. Any feedback or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
