[SOLVED] Vienna MIR Pro 5.4.16751 (Vienna MIR Pro cannot access RoomPacks)

Hi, I have recently purchased MIR Pro 24 and a SynchronStage Room Pack. I have my Room Pack folder set up in a separate HD from my MAC where my MIR Pro is installed. When i start Vienna MIR Pro 24 and set the RoomPack Data to my desired separate HD. However, it shows a message that Vienna MIR Pro cannot access RoomPack.

I have struggled with this for several hours and please could anyone help me with this?

Hi Jeet,

looks like you downloaded the RoomPacks for MIRx, a related, but different product which relies on different data formats (... see a short comparison here).

Please download MIR Pro RoomPacks from your user account on this site.

This is very confusing for your product. I bought the order 452117 VIENNA MIR PRO 24 License & order 474688 MIRx SYNCHRON STAGE VIENNA.

I have bought the SYNCHRON STAGE VIENNA under here https://www.vsl.co.at/en/Vienna_Software_Package/Vienna_MIR_RoomPack_Bundle. 

Why does my purchase now become a MIRx Synchron stage VIENNA? Which make no sense here.

 

I have no found any MIRx product on your website at all

sorry to hear you're facing problems.

These are the RoomPacks you need to run MIR Pro (... think of it as "the samples" and "the sample player engine"): -> https://www.vsl.co.at/en/Vienna_Software_Package/Vienna_MIR_RoomPack_Bundle

... and this is MIRx, a software add-on that can be used exclusively by Vienna Instruments: -> https://www.vsl.co.at/en/MIRx/MIRx_Bundle

I don't know _what_ you bought, I was just referring to the screen-shots you supplied. They clearly reference to a MIRx product. MIRx is not compatible with MIR Pro, as pointed out above. 

If you think that you have bought licenses for the wrong product, please get in contact with sales@vsl.co.at .  I'm sure VSL's sales team will sort out the issue for you swiftly.
