VI Vienna Choir articulation

Greetings.
I have recently added the VI Vienna Choir to my arsenal of samples, Although the samples themselves sound nice, I'm not pleased with the controls over articulation. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. The vocal attack is a bit abrupt, which is OK in some settings, but I'm not getting a nice legato singing line where that's appropriate.

I'm using Sibelius Ultimate, VE w/Vienna Instruments Pro, the Vienna House Styles loaded, and the Sibelius soundsets selected (AA soprano, alto, tenor, bass) in VIP, I have the "humanize" settings active, and have played with the attack and release settings there, but still nothing is that satisfying.

The play samples on the VSL library sound a LOT different than mine. What might I do differently? Are there performance key words I could be using in Sibelius to trigger changes in attack? Thanks in advance.

=> I don't know what you mean with "play samples" and what you have compared exactly.

=> How to switch choir articulations with Sibelius is explained in the Sibelius Integartion manual.

To change the attack, you can use MIDI CC commands. Sibelius uses the following syntax for MIDI CC commands:
~Cxx,yy
xx stands for the MIDI Controller; yy stands for the value

Yeah, I was just talking about the product samples on this site. Of course, I'm doing choral-only, so no other instruments to cover up entrances or articulations. And I most certainly don't have the expectation that I can mimic actual words. 

I've started to experiment a bit with the controls listed in your linked page, thanks for that -- hadn't found it before. I've done very little of this sort of work, so there'll be a serious learning curve.

One thing I've noticed...when notes are repeated, there seems to be a bit of a "scoop" at the beginning of each sample, which has the effect of adding an articulation (at least to my ear). What am I hearing? What controls that? I've been using Vienna Instrument Pro Standalone to try patches and articulations, but I can't get it to reproduce that at all.

The audio examples on the product page have of course been made with the samples in the library.
