  • Expression Maps for Synchron Woodwinds

    Hi,

Are there any plans to release expression maps for Synchron Woodwinds, and if so, roughly when will these be available?

    Kind regards
    Niklas

  • Hi Niklas,

We're on it. Should be very early in 2022!

    Happy holidays,

  • Hi Paul,

Thanks, much appreciated. That will complete my Synchron Template. Until you release Synchron Solo Violins, Synchron Choirs, Synchron Con Sordino Strings and whatever else you've got planned at least. :)

    Happy holidays

  • Hi Niklas!

Cubase and Dorico expression maps for Synchron Woodwinds have just been released.

    Hi Andi!

Awesome, thank you very much. I noticed there's even an expression map availale for the harp, much appreciated!

    Kind regards

  • That's fantastic!!

    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi

I have an issue with some of the Synchron Woodwinds Expression maps. It seems that there are missing the entry for Long Notes C#0, in the Articulation lane, this is the case for the bassoon map. What I mean is this:

If you choose Staccato for some notes and then wants a regular long note with vibrato, there is no way of telling the Synchron Player, that you want to switch to that expression!
    Or is there?
    I can't find it!

    Regards Stig

  • Hello Stig!

"Staccato" and "Vibrato" are in two different articulation groups. This means that if you first select staccato, followed by vibrato, these notes are considered to be staccato vibrato. So please select "non legato" or "legato" to switch back to non staccato playing first. Then the vibrato switch should work.

    Best regards,
    Andi
