I know we've been here before but I'm just revisiting the issue after purchasing some more Synchron libraries.
Where are the dev team with a controller app for ipad, or something similar??
The old VI player one is still excellent, amd I still use it almost every day, but not being able to have the same control over Synchron is a pain.
I just looked again at Lemur (which I have never used) but it doesn't seem current or up to date at least. And I don't really fancy much spending days programming something up to do all this for Synchron libraries. But if anyone has some sensible suggections for this that would be great.
In my case I am buying more Strings packages in Synchron because they do 'sound' an improvement over some of the earlier dry recordings - but for winds and brass and percussion I've stuck with Vi Pro because the sound is still good enough and the control I have with the VI pro app is far superior over the Synchron experience. I also get fewer crashes too.
As an aside I was also reviewing the forum on posts about the dynamic range problem in Synchron - I see it doesn't look like this is fixed yet, which is another reason to stick as far as possible to VI Pro in all other areas bar strings.
