  • SY Player Factory Presets: Where Can I Find The Files?

    I'm wanting to copy the Factory Preset Files and paste them into "Factory" folders in my User Presets. That way they are quickly and easily at hand if I want to start from scratch and create a new User Preset. This will save me a bunch of time.

    Where in Windows File Explorer can these Factory Presets be found?

    Synchron - Woods, Brass, Perc I, Str Pro, Elite Str, Duality Str & Sordino, Prime Studio - Woods, Perc, Solo Str, Ch Str, Orch Str, App Str, Harps, Choir Studio Dim - Brass, Strings VE Pro, MIR Pro 3D, Vienna Suite Pro Cubase 14, Studio One 6, Dorico 5

    Hi!

    The Factory Presets are not available via file explorer.
    But you can simply use the save feature in the preset sidebar to create such a copy.

    Yeah, I'm already doing that. Just had an idea to see if I could save some time.

    Now that I think about it, it makes sense for VSL to protect Factory Presets from corruption.
