VSL is crashing my eLicenser control

I am trying to open a project in Digital Performer 9.52 on my mac OS X 10.13.6

But the file sticks with the msg 'Application Vienna Symphony Library has caused the following error ???'

Then I try using the elicenser maintenance utility which goes into an infinite loop, I tried re-installing eLicenser, but all the same things still happen.

Hi, 

Close all programs, go to "Activity Monitor" and quit "Synsopos" (which is the daemon for the eLicenser Control Center).  Then it should work. 

Alternatively, you can restart your computer.

But before I read your reply I solved it by re-installing the eLicensor.
