    Hello

    A few month ago you where telling that you where working  to have a software that will deal with the updates like in Kontakt

    Any news ?

    How do you know that you have update a library ?

    Hello Cyril,

    No news there, but in the works. 

    All sample data will be recompiled for iLok soon, containing all updates. A great new beginning., 

    There is no quick way to check, you will be quicker to simply apply all updates again (nothing can go wrong). 

    The manual way to check is to look for any sample content data with a different installation date than the other files.

    Yes, the sample content is crypted once again, with the new iLok copy protection.

    What is the advantage of the Ilok protection ?

    Since I already have an iLok key, I will be needing to decide if and when to transfer all my VSL stuff to iLok.  I understand the old Elicensor keys will continue to work for some time, so no rush...

    but quick question...is anything going to change with iLok related to the dongle insurance?  Under iLok will we be able to avoid that bi-annual expense?

    Hi Cyril,

    There are quite a few advantages that come with iLok, here are the main ones I see:

    1) iLok will be available for many years to come

    2) You can use the iLok cloud with all its advantages, also in combination with a key

    3) Management and interface of iLok is very easy to handle

    @ Dewdman: iLok offers their Zero Downtime Coverage.
