  • Mapping MIDI CC in VEP 7

Hi guys, I've noticed that when I'm using SINE Player or Kontakt it's imposible to add MIDI Parameters in VEP (for example CC 001 for dynamics). I have to to this in Studio One by looking for specific MIDI port and channel and then choosing my CC 1 to automate instrument dynamic.

It would be cool if you could make it by typing "CC 001" and then make an alias for this "High Strings - dynamics" in VEP.

Am I doign sth wrong? What do you think?

  • Hi,

You could click "L" in VE Pro Automation and then either move your ModWheel / Controller or send corresponding MIDI data from your sequencer.

    Best,

I don't know why you can't. Here's a picture of the set-up in VE Pro:

  • So, I don't know why this is not possible, I mean I doubt Studio One has crippled this.

Normally I don't have to set MIDI control up, not for an instrument. An FX plugin I want to control with MIDI, yeah.

But if you do have to set it up, you have to specify Port and Channel even if you're going to Learn mod wheel et al as opposed to grabbing it in the menu.
