  • SOLVED Posible bug in VePro7?

    SOLVED!

In Kontakt I was not ticking the "make this your defualt setting" on the output configuration dialog when making changes to these mentioned outputs. Now it works. Thanks to the help staff at VSL.

Hi to all ! First post. I have encountered a problem in VePro7. It's consistent and annoying.

This is what occurs. On any instance of Kontakt loaded with 16 instruments and the corresponding 16 midi channels rotuing back to default stereo 1/2 and to Cubase. No problem here. The problem begins when I assign an individual channel in Kontkat for each instrument and mirror this in VEP adding the corresponding 16 aux channels from the laoded kontakt instrument.

When I reach midi channel 14 in VEP it double routes to 15 simultaneously , loosing volume. Then 15 goes to aux channel 16 & 16 goes out of aux 20. All this only in VEP m ixer. In Kontakt it all works accordingly , each channel to its output.

In VEP mixer the aux channels are routed to a  bus that goes out to stereo 1/2 although if I set the aux channels to have a stereo output to route to Cubase it becomes a nightmare because of this strange behaviour.

I'm sharing a link to a dropbox file with the double screen capture Cubase, VEP, Kontakt so someone can see the problem. I can't find a way around this except not using thpose channels but that defeats the purpose of having 16 channels per instrument.

Hope to find some help on this forum.

    Thnks to all !
