vsl ensemble (6 or 7 pro) connected with logic x pro

Hi

I want to use my vienna ensemble 6 , (also trying vep 7 demo), with Logic Pro. But I'm failing,

The main issue is that I only can get port 1 (with 16 instruments) to work, but for port 2 there should be a new instance I guess? I can't get port 2 working... And here I can't get any further.. there should be a ´+´upper left but I don't have that -(using Mac)

Is there any other tutorials or are these ones below what I should use? And is VEP 7 best option for this?

For VePro6 I recommend you stick with using just one midi port.  You can, however, have many VePro instances, with 16 channels each.  If you are really wanting to experiment with some VePro6 templates that can handle multi-port setups...see these templates here:

But really I strongly recommend you avoid multiple midi ports in VePro6.

VePro7, however, can handle multi-port quite well using AU3 (with a few limitations).
