Hi all. I'm looking at reaper and have so far been impressed. As a cubase user, vst3 of vepro handles 48 midi ports and 500 audio returns no worries at all.
At first I was discouraged to find reaper can only send midi on 16 ports. But then I realised I can use the event input. Still need to play with this.
But I have not found a way of returning more than 64 audio channels. Yes I could use fewer instances, or use buses in vepro...but I want individual returns. Just like I do in cubase.
Anyone have any ideas? I wondered about virtual audio cables or other things. Oh, vepro is on a slave and I'm on Windows.
