    Hi All,

    Another Newbie Question.

    I have had to put my old Steinberg Midex8 racks on my slave windows pc, the connections are recognised in VSL Pro 7 & I have activated them in the External Midi window, when I play the Triton Studio I can see the green light flashing when I load up a VST so I am receiving data.

    My questions are:-

    1. How can I send the midi data I am playing on the Triton, through VSL to be captured in Cubase 10.5, at the moment I am not receiving anything.

    2. When I have recorded the midi data in Cubase, how do I then play it back through VSL - Midex8 - Triton.

    Unfortunately, the latest windows updates rendered the Midex8 useless & the drivers kept crashing, but is stable on an older version of windows 10.

    Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Hi Andy, 

    The first thing to fix is that Cubase should receive and record the MIDI information you are sending. Did you check the inputs in Cubase?
