I thought 0 buffer should give zero latency for audio input returns but cubase clearly shows there is still 2.7ms latency and no compensation. I can alsohear it with the reverbs. I put the same reverb on a VEP pro server(on the host computer) instance and and on a cubase fx channel. The reverb coming back from Vep Pro Server sounds as if it has pre delay. Exactly the amount the plugin shows with 0 Buffers (what cubase shows on the plugin channel).
And that 2.7 ms delay is when i set the audio buffer of cubase to 128. If i change it, than the latency changes also.
When i bypass the reverb (which is set as all wet on Vep instance) thani clearlyhear phasing of original signal and the signal sent to Vep Instance. So there is for sure no latency compensation!!!
This renders using Vep Pro Server on Host maschine for delays and reverbs useless! Since the sound/predelay of reverbs and delay/latency which is NOT compensated change when i change the system buffer or vep buffer.
I don't understand how VSL can claim VEP can be used for FX on host maschine and that there is delay compensation for VEP plugin!?
And this is the same with cubase 10 or 10.5
