  • Can't get MIDI keyboard to work with Ensemble Pro standalone

    Hi,

I am running Vienna Pro 7 standalone in Windows 10 and trying to get it to work with my MIDI keyboard.  It works fine in Cubase, but I can't get any sound from my keyboard with the standalone player.  My standalone settings are:  Audio:  Focusrite USB ASIO, Audio routing: Output 1 and Output 2, MIDI: IMPACT LX88.  Any advice will be appreciated.

  • Go into Preferences, Audio/MIDI, to the MIDI tab and select your controller there; in addition to ensuring your audio interface is communicating with it in the first tab of that preference.

Hi Civilization3. I think I have made all the correct settings.  I've got my audio interface checked in the Audio tab and my MIDI controller checked in the MIDI tab (please see attached JPG).  Is there anything else I can to?  Thanks.

  • No, that's it. It should work; if not I'd sent support an email

Hi Civilization 3.  I contacted support and this time I sent a JPG of my Vienna Instruments set up in VE Pro. I was sending to MIDI channel 2 (instead of 1) Oops.  It works fine with the correct settings.  Support is great!
