    Hi,

    The VI collection includes both "standard" and "medium" weight timpani mallets. What the difference? Shouldn't "medium" mallets be the standard/generic type, as opposed to the softer and harder types?

    Hello Paolo!

    For the VI Timpani library we recorded two sets of timpani. Timpani A have only been recorded with one kind of mallet. That's why the mallet is simply called "standard mallet". Timpani B have been recorded with different kinds of mallets.
