In Synchron Player, what do "Source Voice Limit" and "Source V.L. Release" do?

What is "Source Voice Limit"?

Hi carburetor,
We just updated our Synchron Player manual with more information!
Those 2 controls were introduced with our Synchron Power Drums, which benefit from the "bleeding" effect a lot!
Best,

Hi Paul,
Thanks for getting back to me. I read the updated manual page. It says that sources are only defined for certain instruments. I think it would be a good idea to define a "source" by default as a single note (like C4, C#4, D4, etc.) for all instruments, or at least give the user the option to do so. If the Synchron-ized Special Keyboards library had this control, I would buy it.
I'm interested in this feature because I want a way to control the per-note polyphony of instruments. I already have the VI Special Keyboards library, and the lack of this control is a drawback for me. For example, I would like to set the "source voice limit" for the Harmonium to 1, so that I can use the sustain pedal without multiple voices of the same note layering on top of each other. (I know organs don't have sustain pedals, but it's a useful tool for a composer with limited keyboard skills.)
I would love if this feature was added to the VI player as well. Is any of this within the realm of possibility?
Thanks,
David
