    I can't reproduce these issues with the latest version of the Synchron Player that was released yesterday.
    Please update to this version and if it still crashes, send us the crash-dump. We will take a look at this.

    I can't see a new update, the latest version is from 10/08.


  • Sorry, my bad. I mixed up 18 with 08.
    I had this issue three months ago on my machine. However, I did many tests with version 1709 yesterday and was not able to reproduce these crashs.
    It is really helpful if you could send us crashdumps from this version, so we can further investigate this issue.

  • I now email VSL support with video capture, log, crash report.

     

    I wish VSL can deeply investigate this issue, otherwise all of my Synchron instruments are sitting there waiting for the fix.

     

    Last time I waited about a week to get the reply from VSL, hope this time will be sooner.

    I meant the Synchron Player version 1709. I am also working with Windows 10 1903.

  • I have just downloaded the last updates and I made a quick test; it seems working pretty well until now! :-) Thanks a lot! Now I can say that I really like the synchronized woodwinds. Anyway I hope we will see new Synchron libraries as soon as possible ;-)

  • Hi everyone, I started working on a new Cubase template based on Synchron player this morning, because yesterday, after the new updates, everything seemed to be ok. After half an hour again Cubase crashed because Synchron player. It is starting to be very annoying, with ViPro I never had a problem, never; Synchron is totally unusable for me. It is the only piece of software giving me problems. What a shame!

    What speaks against sending us those crash reports, so we can improve the software?

    support@vsl.co.at is the right address, best with reproduction steps for us (include your Cubase file, if you like), and of course with the basic information about your system.

    thanks for the answer.

    I am sorry, but I made a big error: I didn't want to write "what a shame", but "what a pity", I am from Italy... ;-)

    VSL libraries are always my first choice, ViPro Orchestral strings are still one of my prefered, old but gold.

    I have a lot of your libraries and I use them every day for my work.

    I will send a support ticket and hopefully this problem will be solved.

  • The latest version of Synchron Player still not very stable in both standalone and within DAW. It crashes several times today and I have sent the crash report and log to VSL support. I was told the issue that cause the crash has been fixed in this current version.

  • Hello, having the same problem (already for months! And I updated synchronplayer all the time hoping to solve the problem. Now I have the latest 1175 version...)) but in studio one 4.6. The synchron player 1175 is crashing most of the time when I connect a automation-channel (eg.cc7) and edit this channel. When I change instrument, (by selecting another track) the whole thing crashes without any warning. I cant see any crashdump or make one. Sometimes, before crashing there is a loud noise, distorting the sound of all tracks. Stand alone, or using in Studio One without automation-channel, there is no problem at all. So, after some month I realy want to use my synchronplayer with the Smart Orchestra, Epic Orchestra and the BBO. Maybe I get so enthousiastic and buy many more syncronized sounds.. (they are great, I know...), but for now, Im waiting... I am waiting until the problem with the player is solved. Duck. I5 3550, 16Gb, audiobox-usb96. All drives SSD 1.5 Tb. Multi (3) monitor setup.

    Why are you using such an old version of the Synchron Player?

    1765 is the latest one.

    If that doesn't help, please send crah dumps and project to support@vsl.co.at, so we can look into it.

  • Hello Paul,  I am very sorry I noted the synchron player as v 1175, indeed thats  from very long time ago. I am using the latest version v 1765.

    And can you tell me where I can find the crashdump, or how to make one. Most of the time synchron player shutting down suddenly, no messages... no crashdump?

    I can send you the total project of course, but its a Studio One 4.6 project, is that a problem?
