  • Synchron Special Editions-Help!

I've just upgraded to Synchron Special Editions complete. I've been using the complete Special Editions. I have downloaded the libraries (each orchestra section to a seperate to a seperate SSD), downloaded the Synchron Player, put in the codes into the elicenser.

I load Logic, load Vienna Ensemble into a instrument channel that has a prerecorded sequence. I load the Synchron player and select Factory to load an instrument. There's nothing there. Clicking it doesn't bring does nothing. I've check my SSD drives and the Synchron Orchestra sections are all there.

Please help!!! I'm sure I've missed something but I don't know what. I've been wrestling with this for a week and a half and I'm so anxious to hear the new Synchron version with my compostions. I love Special Editions- I hoping to love Synchron Special Editions even more.

    Any help appreciated

    Doothings your way,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Are you sure that you clicked "INSTALL" in the Download Manager? Do you see *.vsynvolume files on your SSD drive?

Also: Latest VSL Software and latest eLicenser Controll Center?

And finally: Those licenses for the SYNCHRON-ized SE are visible in the eLCC?

  • Paul,

I'm seeing the vsynvolume files on my SSD and the eLicenser Synchron files are visible. Should the Synchron player be on my main hard drive and not on my external SSDs where the samples are? I'm grabbing at straws. Does the directory manager from the old Special Edition come into play or it just for the old Special Edition?

Anyway-back at you for your next thing to try.

    Good things,

    M
