  • The “Harmonics” slot in the first dimension (Articulation) of Synchron Strings I

The Sibelius Optimization v4.5 document says the VE Strings sound set works with the Synchron Strings I (Synchron Player version). It also states that it is possible to trigger harmonics : ("see VE Special Edition PLUS section. Only available with Vienna Symphonic Library House Style loaded.)". And in the section on VE Special Edition PLUS and VE SY Special Edition, it describes how Harmonics can be reached in three ways.

In particular, it mentions that "to make (harmonics) sound two octaves higher, select the slot “Harmonics” in the first dimension (Articulation). Go to the EDIT tab and set Octave to “1”."

Problem is, I don't find ANY harmonics slot in the first dimension (Articulation). Did I miss something during the installation?

    Tks

    Gil

  • Hello Gil!

The "Synchron Strings I" collection doesn't include harmonics. The SYNCHRON-ized Special Edition volumes 1 PLUS and 2 PLUS include harmonics.

    Best regards,
    Andi
