SE Vol 2 Keyboards VS Konzerthaus Organ

Hey there!

I've been having loads of fun playing around with all of the beautiful volume 1 samples (can't believe I hadn't picked this up earlier), and was considering adding one more library to my list before the individual sections disappear on 30th June.

I haven't found much info online, so I wanted to ask here:

What registrations/stops/presets come with the "Konzerthaus Organ" included in "Vienna Special Edition Volume 2 Guitars & Keyboards"?

The audio preview gives two registration examples, but I was curious if there was a full list anywhere? The "Sample Content" page simply states "Single notes", which is not entirely helpful for an organ sampler!

I'm just really intrigued because I am almost certain it doesn't include all of the registrations that come with the full ~£250 "Konzarthaus Organ" library (as that would be an insanely good deal), but then, what registrations does it come with?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - many thanks!

The SE Konzerthaus Organ contains four patches:

• Plenum - Manual
• Plenum - Pedal
• Flutes - Manual
• Flutes - Pedal

The Plenum patches are whole-tone sampled versions of the Large Principalplenum registration patch from the full library.  The registration contains the following stops: Large Principalplenum: Principal 8', Nasatquinte 5 1/3', Octave 4', Superoctave 2', Rauschquinte 2f, Mixtur 5f, Cymbel 3f.

The Flute patches are whole-tone sampled versions of the, well, Flutes registration patch of the full library.  The Manual contains the following stops: Quintatoen 16', Bordun 8', Gemshorn 4', Woodpipe 2'  The Pedal contains: Subbass 16', Bassflute 8'

Each patch contains 1 velocity layer (duh) and the AB switch controls octave offset.  Release samples can be switched on and off for utmost control of ambience (the organ, for obvious reasons, was not sampled on the Silent Stage).

I'd like to clarify something as well:

In the full library, you get patches that sample the individual stops so you can, essentially, create your own switchboard and mix, spatilialize, create presets for swells, etc. (If solo organ features in your music, the full library is a godsend).  In addition to this, the full library contains registration patches that are samples of registrations that the organists and organ manufacturors themselves designed.  There are many of them, all chromatically sampled.  So, in the SE, you are getting two of these registration patches, whole-tone sampled.

Therefore, there aren't really any presets for the organ patches (in the SE) since you don't need them.

I should also note that I do not own the Synchronized Version of the SE Konzerhaus Organ.  I presume it would be largely the same sample content, but I would check just to be sure.

It's a very good library, imo: very deeply sampled and immensely flexible.  One particular detail I enjoy is that they kept the natural delayed attack of the big stops in the samples intact so it sounds quite authentic; it makes pedal parts in fugues sound particularly realistic (of course you can edit these natural delays out by adjusting the attack envelope if you want).  Another fun thing I've been experimenting with is panning and spatiliazing different stops to create a "surround organ".  😊
