There are no trills in SE Vol 1 but Dorico Pro 2 will actually play trills half and whole tone. What's the difference between trills played by my notation program and the trill articulations in Se Vol 1? Are the trills executed better in the VI Pro player?

Hi Colin,
There are 2 different ways to play a good trill:
- A pre-recorded trill, like you find it in the Special Edition PLUS Volumes (half-tone, whole-tone)
- A trill played with the Performance Trill, available in the FULL Libraries of our bigger collections
You can also have a trill played by the "normal" legato, but it usually sounds artificial, as the same note transitions are repeated.
So it's not about the sample player, it is rather about the available sample material.
