    Hi, I have just crossgrade from VI Pro Special Editions to Synchronized ones. I am quite disappointed by the loading time. It’s almost instantaneous to load a patch on VI Pro whereas it takes more than 30 seconds on the synchron player. Furthermore, it’s not possible to play the instrument until it is fully loaded in memory. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Are there some settings to change to have the same behaviour of the VI Pro player? Thanks

    I haven't experienced this problem. If anything, it loads even faster in the Synchron Player.

    Have you installed it on an SSD?

    Alternatively, you can disable the slots on load, so that the player doesn't load all the samples at once, but only on MIDI activity.

    Hi stan-k, 

    Tell us a little more about your system. I guess you are loading PRESETS in the Synchron Player vs PATCHES in VI PRO. 

    Loading time in Synchron Player depends on the PRELOAD settings in your Database setting (based on an auomatic scan of the access time your harddrives offer). You can change those settings manually. 

    Which harddrives are you using?

    Hey Paul,

    you wanna talk to ctornieri, he is the one experiencing those problems. It's all good on my end. :)

    And just as an FYI: I'm using an old iMac from 2013 with an external SSD without any hiccups.
