It is "NTFS"

Hi Chris,
I'd try the following:
1) Copy the installation files to your SSD drive.
2) Start the Synchron Library Installer (from within the Synchron Player application folder) and point it to the package.info file in this folder and run the installation from there.
Does it work then?
Best,
Paul

Hi Paul
I thought it was worth a try. I have done what you suggested. I was not optimistic, but it "worked" only slightly better. Now the process got to 51% before BSOD, same "DPC_Watchdog_Violation". After 33% (the last point of BSOD) the install became VERY SLOW. (See original post).
I thought maybe my install file was corrupt (though it copied fine from G: to Z:). But if corrupt, it would crash in the same place, which it hadn't.
Again I was only installing Synchron Strings Light (32GB) for this trial. Is it at all possible to break that library up into 2 or 3 pieces? I am sure it will work then. The next biggest library, Power Drums Light (14GB) installed okay.
Regards
Christo

Hi Ben
Good idea, thanks. No, it did not work, still crashed after 50%, but it gave me another idea.
So I re-downloaded the library file fresh from VSL. But instead of installing on my 2015 Desktop, I installed it on my 2019 laptop SSD. And it actually worked. Then I just copied the installed file over to my desktop SSD. So hopefully my problem, while not solved, is worked-around.
Was it the newer machine, or the newer file that did it? I don't know. (Both machines are up to date Win 10 OS).
