  • [SOLVED] Greyed out plugins

Hey folks, I've just installed VEPro7, and seem to be missing a large chunk of my plugins.  They do appear in the list of Available Plugins, but in a folder marked "Unknown", which is greyed out, and rescanning them doesn't help.  The pathways look to be all correct, and I've tried resetting them but the result is the same.  It's a bunch of them, all my UAD plugins, 2cAudio, iZotope, and several others, so I'm a little bit stuck.  Any suggestions?

  • You can try to rescan them manually one by one.
The devs are already on it and it will be hopefully fixed soon.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me.  I've tried rescanning them on my PC, still no luck.  Everything's showing up properly on the Mac though, so at least there's that.

  • Yes, hang in there for the next release.  Should be soon I think.

Just double checking, but you right clicked on a single greyed out plugin and rescaned it individually? This actually worked for me and all my greyed out plugins are now working on my PC.

  • I just purchased VEP7 and ALL of my plugins are disabled!

I am using the following version: 7.0.889 for windows.

Please see the following image: https://imgur.com/a/SJuZzUJ

Nothing works at all, which is very surprising, not even Kontatk 5 or Kontakt 6.

I determined the issue was that I was running the 32bit version of VEP7. Plugins show up fine in the 64bit version.
