I installed the update for VEPro6 and incurred frequent and lengthy dropouts from various instruments. I uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same thing so I have rolled back to earlier version and it's working fine.
What gives?

I also rolled back with success. The update seemed to put a much bigger load on the CPU for some reason, even when optimized. Makes me nervous about Ensemble Pro 7. (iMac Pro, Logic.)
Thankfully Vienna let you demo VE pro 7 for 30 days so you can see how it performs for you in your studio. No need to be nervous. 😊

I'm one of the people who had problems with the update, and fixed it by going back to the previous version. I then upgraded to 7 and have had no problems. (So far - it's been less than a day ...)

I found older version in my vsl, archived downloads, 6.0.17226 and everything is up and running again...
