  • The performance tool, of pals and vlps

Hi, I tried slightly hijacking a relevant thread so as not to waste space with a new thread but it seems to have gotten lost in the woodwork, so I'll start one afresh.

I'm using osx, rewire, reason, cubase se and halion 3.
I've read the performance tool documentation. I've downloaded a folder of '.pal' files that I'm supposed to load into the performance tool as the pdf says, but when it comes to opening them in the performance tool wants .vlp files. what have I missed? If i select the show all file types option and force open them, it coughs up a file of wrong type error.
Before you grill me, I can't search incase this is covered.
    Thanks guys

  • Hi Tailus,

if you want to load a .pal-file, please choose the Mode of the Performamce Tool that you need and use the "open" button in the window that opens when you choose the mode. ".pal"-files contain the settings for a mode, whereas ".vlp"-files contain the settings of the whole Performance Tool and are normally saved in your project folder.

    Best wishes,

    Paul
