Yes Dietz you're right.
Pitchoune (is it a french Pseudo ? this word is often used in France)
Be careful with the different tools which transform the pan.
Each time you make a modification, take care to verify the original sound.
Often we loose the quality and the richness of the sound.
Of course in case of a big orch you think it's important to place almost in mono the differents instruments.
But the final result, if it's correct in the placement, is sometimes poor in dynamic.
that's my experience.
We meet the same problem with the placement ( it calls "stage") in the Altiverb: it is almost impossible to keep the good quality of our prefered library in an exhaustive and multiple placement with this reverb…
Altiverb is maybe the best convolution reverb actually, but dangerous for this tool "stage"!
