I am new to this product, just got it with the Ve Pro intro offer. I take it you have to use an instance of the synchron player per instrument, right? It is not multi-timbral?
thanks,
michael

I just tried it, yes very easy and a handy way to use the Synchron. So already Ve Pro is paying dividends. But what is the advantage in using it to host, say, Play or Aria? I see that both are listed as options when I insert the Synchron player. In my current project, I have an instance of each of them. How do I get them into Ve Pro? (I don't mean a blank instance but the ones I have already loaded up). And what do I gain by doing so? Also, why is Kontakt not showing up? I use it for Cinematic Strings. Can I insert Dimension Pro, another single-instance synth? If so, how?
OK, I see how to do it, just insert a blank instance and then open the saved instance. So, how do I use it now it's in there? Is thyre any advantage over just using it outside of Ve Pro?
Also, I tried adding the folders for Kontakt and Dimension Pro, and rescanned, but they were not found. I'll try reopening project.
Hi Michael,
The main advantage for most users is that you can keep your template loaded (with a feature called PRESERVE), organized in different instances, so you can switch between projects very comfortably and fast.
VE Pro also stays available with all samples loaded in case your sequencer crashes.
Another advantage is that VE PRO takes care of Multi-Threading very efficiently, outside of your sequencer.
Not sure which OS you are on, but did you try to uninstall and reinstall Kontakt yet?
Best,
Paul
Thank you Paul, these would seem to be advantages indeed. I am on Windows 7. I'll try reinstalling Kontakt (or installing newest version if applicable).
