Help !! STEINWAY D Sounds like a toy,,,,,,

I installed it but the sound of the piano is strange…….

 

 

It sounds like a toy piano,

 

 

Please tell me how to resolve

 

 

 

 

My DAW   Cubase pro 10

 

 

 

My PC iMac 

 

4.2 GHz Intel Core i7

 

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

 

OS Mojave 10.14.2

When you open the Steinway THE START-PRESETTING can sound a little thin, but you can adjust the sound in every way you want.

I do not know how many channels you use, but it should help to turn the DYNAMIC-BUTTON to the left side (45%-40%) ... that makes the sound thicker - no matter which preset is loaded.

(BTW ... I would love to have possibilities to make the Steinway sound like a Toy-Piano ;)

in the picture I can't see any preset loaded yet...

I'm not sure if you were listening to the Synchron Piano Player already. You should press a preset in the bottom line and see the samples loading. After this happen, no way it sounds like a toy, it always sounds like a piano, bright, but real. (unless you have some serious truble in the Audio interface, but it's very unlikely happening...)

That's the preset "Intimate, Surround to Stereo", you will need the FULL LIBRARY to play that specific sound.
